Romans and Hebrews Manuscript, [followed by] Sermones, [1150-1199].

Manuscript portable Bible from the latter half of the twelfth century containing the books of Hebrews and Romans, followed by a sermon attributed to Hugh of St. Victor, De Claustro Materiali et Spirituali (cf. Migne Pat. Lat. CLXXVI:1051, etc.). The manuscript contains sixteen large initials (14 P's, 1 M, and 1 L) in gold and colors. Other smaller initials in red and blue, and red and green. The binding is a later calf binding. There are an additional seven pages of notes at the beginning of the volume, and two pages at the end. The signature of Fr. Jacobus Lamberti occurs at the end of the sermon.
