Elizabeth's papers include articles from Farm Journal, Iowa Homemaker, and Tractor Farming, as well as scripts and correspondence for radio programs. Fred's materials contain writings, speeches, correspondence, and financial records from the Ferguson farms.

Author and editor. Elizabeth (Bess) Storm Ferguson and Fred E. Ferguson both received their degrees from Iowa State in 1921. Bess helped to found The Homemaker Magazine; worked for ISU Cooperative Extension until her marriage in 1923; and became a free-lance author, lecturer, and guest speaker.
