Family papers : letters and deeds, 1833-1886, bulk 1837- 1838.

This collection includes correspondence, ledger pages, business cards, certificate of shares in Bloomfield and Springfield, Turnpike Road, Co., survey documents, land and slave indentures, and a copy of Haden E. Stone's will. The business cards advertise Isaac D. Stone's law firm, there are letters from E. D. Stone and James E. Stone (Haden's brothers), and documents dealing with H. E. Stone's partnership with Haden Edwards. The surveys have clear drawings that include turnpike instersections, secondary roads, creek locations and scales. The ledger, from his dry goods store, was written in the 1860's and has a revenue stamp affixed to it.
