Amory Thomas-Jimeno papers, 1960-2000.

Photocopies of typescripts of works by Amory Thomas-Jimeno and publications, correspondence, audio cassettes, videotapes, and photographs. Included is a long letter dated February 1984 in which Thomas-Jimeno discussed the progress of her literary career and the influence of various writers, particularly André Maurois and Ernest Hemingway, on her work. Also included are audio cassettes and videotapes relating to Colette, André Maurois, and others. Photographs are chiefly of Thomas-Jimeno and family members. All materials are in French.

Amory Thomas-Jimeno was a French novelist and short story writer who lived in Bern, Switzerland. In addition to works of fiction, she also wrote literary studies and biographical essays.
