Robertson, to Dexter, ass[istan]t engineer, S.C. Railroad Co., Hamburg, S.C., re supplies and health concerns, reporting "sickness in the interior," and care and value of his health while on the job. Collection also includes unbound account book, 8 Oct. 1832-13 Aug. 1833, [Barnwell County, S.C.?] for expenditures at sawmill run by Williams & Dexter [successor to W.W. Williams & Co.] recording payments for bacon, corn, fodder, and wages.
