Tarkington's diaries for 1898, 1913, 1925, 1929, 1931, and 1932, and one folder of correspondence. The 1898 diary was written while she was married to Temple A. Robinson and details a trip to the Caribbean. The 1913 diary contains entries about the flood that struck Indianapolis. The 1925 diary describes travel in Africa and Europe. The 1929, 1931, and 1932 diaries deal mainly with visits to Johns Hopkins for a series of operations on her husband's eyes.
