Harold S. Jacoby (1907-) was Professor of Sociology at the University of Pacific, Stockton, Calif. (1933-62, 1968-76) and Dean of the College of Pacific (1962-68). Jacoby was also a member of the staff of the Tule Lake Relocation Center in California (1942), the Japanese-American Resettlement Program in Chicago (1943), and the United Nations Relief & Rehabilitation Program in the Middle East (1944).
