William G. Haydon fonds, 1916-1922.

The fonds consists of letters to his wife and family, official notification of his death, letters from his fellow soldiers to his wife, a notebook with brief entries of the regiment's movements and lists of soldiers, and photographs. Most of the photographs were taken in Egypt. They include a railway station, encampments, a football pitch and camel transport, as well a photograph of Sgt. Haydon. Also included in the fonds are photographs of Haydon's brother Ted and his wife's brother Peter Ryan, both of whom served in the War.
