Agreement between the inspectors of the penitentiary at Alton, Illinois and Isaac Greathouse and Nathaniel Buckmaster. For a fee of $6115 Greathouse and Buckmaster receive the labor of the inmates in exchange for the care, clothing and feeding of the inmates. Signed by Greathouse and Buckmaster and inspectors Benjamin K. Hart, Peter Merrill and William Montgomery.
