Letters of Gulian Crommelin Verplanck, 1825-1831.

Collection includes letter of introduction for Mr. Dunlap, who is en route to Washington where his paintings are being exhibited, dated January 16, 1825; letter to Silas Wright, dated November 26, 1831, which accompanied a tax payment for lands owned by D.C. Verplanck, heir of Samuel Verplanck; and an undated letter requesting the correspondent to meet an unidentified individual.
