A circular, July 1855, sent by Banes in Metamora to Independent Order of Odd Fellows lodges announcing that Banes is moving to Illinois or Iowa, and will hold a lottery of his belongings, the proceeds to go to the widows and orphans funds of the Odd Fellows lodges of Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa.
