Letters primarily discuss the London theater, Whelen's plans to form a stock company, and production possibilities of some of Galsworthy's plays. Among the producers/directors mentioned are Max Martersteig, who just directed Galsworthy's "Strife" in Cologne, Germany; John Vedrenne, Harley Granville-Barker, Annie Elizabeth Fredericka Horniman, and Alfred Wareing. Galsworthy also mentioned his plays, "The Eldest Son," "The Silver Box," and "Justice." He congratulates Whelen on his (Whelen's] translation of Ludwig Thoma's "Moral," and requests his name be added to a telegram to Maxim Gorky.
