This letter discusses several matters relating to the publication of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and is written to an historically significant figure--the publisher of the very first edition of Huckleberry Finn. Most notably Mark Twain introduces the very first publisher of the Huck Finn(Andrew Chatto) to the first American publisher (Charles Webster).

Mark Twain (b. Samuel Langhorne Clemens, November 30, 1835, Florida, MO – d. April 21, 1910, Redding, CT) was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer.
