The Edward John Thye collection consists primarily of twenty-six photographs used for news releases and other events when Thye served as the U.S. Senator from Minnesota. A few of the photographs are accompanied by typescript news releases. Several other photographs show Thye in different settings. Included are photographs, typescript news reports, and a typescript speech along with a phonograph record of Thye speaking on the radio to endorse the candidacy of Harold Stassen for United States President on 29 February 1952.
