Subjects include his years as a student at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; as commander of mine operations against German U-boats during World War I; as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Asiatic Fleet (1921-1922); and as joint-receiver for the U.S. Navy during the Teapot Dome scandal investigation (1924-1928).
