Collection contains correspondence, 1872-1909, accounts, 1860- 1909, and miscellaneous business records of Charles Laforester Todd (1840- 1909), president of the Gallego Mills, a flour milling firm in Richmond, Va.; and family and personal correspondence, 1909-1932, account books, 1909, loose accounts, and a scrapbook, 1880-1950, of his wife, Mary Virginia (Powers) Todd (1855-1941) of Richmond. Also, includes correspondence, 1919-1966, of their daughter, Mabel (Todd) Pemberton (1876- 1970) of Richmond; and correspondence, 1901-1937, notebooks, 1908-1909, and accounts of their son, Charles Laforester Todd (1881-1938), a student at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, while serving in the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and while assistant engineer for the city of Richmond, Va.
