The letters chiefly discuss family and social news and the education of children. The remainder of the collection includes accounts, chiefly of John Langbourne Williams, Maria Ward (Skelton) Williams, and William Berkeley Williams; memoranda and correspondence concerning the banking house of John L. Williams & Sons of Richmond; and reports of John Skelton Williams as U.S. Comptroller of the Currency.
