Interview focuses on Eckley's service in the Army Air Corps training the Women Airforce Srvice Pilots at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, Texas. Also discusses his experiences with the Civilian Pilot Training program as a ferry pilot for the Air Transport Command flying over the Himalayas between China and India and his 33 years as a flight engineer, co-pilot and captain for United Airlines.
