The video tape consists of a science program produced for Swedish television and broadcast in the spring of 1986. Dr. Bengt Feldreich describes science in La Jolla, California and interviews local scientists including Margaret Burbidge, William Nierenberg, Roger Revelle, Jonas Salk, and Mia Tegner. The program includes an interview with UCSD Librarian Ulla Sweedler who describes the University of California Libraries. La Jolla jazz saxophonist Charlie McPherson is interviewed and his music provides background for the program. The program is in Swedish and English.
