Everard Cureton conveyance of title deed, 1828 Feb. 14 (Kershaw District, S.C.).

Conveyance of title signed by Everard and Rebecca [Belton] Cureton granting ownership to Lawrence Whitaker for three hundred acres of land on south side of Wateree River in Kershaw District. Document traces line of ownership for the property, originally located in colonial Craven County, S.C., granted by Gov. James Glen to John Tod; in 1751 the tract came into ownership of Timothy Kelly, and in 1794, passed to Abraham Belton.
