The Royal Flying Corps observation notebook. 1914

The Royal Flying Corps observations notebook contains copies of observer reports from France which include details of troop movements, bombings, and fires. One report with a carbon copy is still present. There are also carbon copies of seven letters including official business. This notebook gives a good picture of what airplanes were used for in the opening stages of World War One.
