The accession consists of eight 35mm color film negatives and five 16mm original color prints which depict operations on a Cousteau-Westinghouse Diving Saucer leased by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in 1965. Each film is labelled with a dive number, which corresponds to a list of dives in SIO Subject Files (Archival Collection AC6), Box 20, folder 19, which gives dates for each dive. Film labels identify dives led by Carl Leavitt Hubbs, Douglas Inman, Richard Rosenblatt, Francis P. Shepard, Edward Winterer and others.

American ichthyologist and naturalist born Williams, Arizona October 18, 1894. Received A.B. (1916) and A.M. (1917) degrees from Stanford and Ph. D. (1927) University of Michigan.
