The Park brothers collection includes the correspondence of three brothers: John Wesley Park, Frank M. Park, and Jesse Park. The letters discuss many issues including: pro-slavery and anti-slavery activities; local activities around Leavenworth, Kansas, Hays City, Kansas, Sheridan, Kansas, and Smithville, Missouri; life on the western Kansas frontier; U.S. Army vs. Indian battles around Ft. Hays, Kansas; buffalo hunting; and the Union Pacific Railroad.
