Moon Landrieu, former mayor of New Orleans, Louisiana was born July 23, 1930, in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, the son of Joseph and Loretta (Bechtel) Landrieu. Moon Landrieu received a BBA from Loyola University in 1952 and his LLB from Loyola University in 1954.
