Joseph Hunt account books, 1782-1813.

Two volumes of accounts relating primarily to Hunt's business as physician and pharmacist, the earlier volume covering the years 1782-1803, the later 1785-1813 (the 1813 entries representing accounts settled after Hunt's death). Some accounts in the 1782-1803 volume also record the sale of dry goods and groceries (apparently resulting from Hunt's partnership with his brother-in-law Thomas Whiting). This earlier volume also includes Hunt's expenses for home repairs and taxes and (on hand-numbered p. 70) mortality lists. The 1785-1813 volume, once the property of physician, statistician, and social. (Cont.) historian of Concord Edward Jarvis, includes extensive annotations by Jarvis on individuals referred to in the accounts.
