Series 3 consists of clippings, notes, correspondence and a fragmentary novel draft on Sierra expressman, Nathan Bowers. Series 4 consists of notes on Sonora Desert adventurer, Henry Crabb. Series 5 consists of notes on Idaho bandit, Henry A. Plummer. Series 6 consists of clippings on 19th century California history with particular emphasis on Nevada County and the northern Mother Lode.
