Papers of Thomas Bentley Mott (1865-1952), author and U.S. military attacheĢ in Paris, France, include correspondence, 1876-1948, illuminating his military career; reports, 1917, on U.S. military operations in Russia and Italy; and newspaper clippings concerning his autobiography and a biography of Myron T. Herrick, U.S. Ambassador to France. Mott's diary, 1918-1919, documents his work as U.S. Army liaison officer between Ferdinand Foch and John Joseph Pershing during World War I.
