Frederick William Sievers (1872-1966), a sculptor, received his art education in Rome, Paris, and Richmond, Virginia. He worked out of Richmond, sculpting statues housed in Abingdon and Richmond, Virginia; Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; Vicksburg, Mississippi; and New York City.
