Volume apparently kept by Joseph Prentis, administrator of Riddick's estate. Also include typescript copy, n.d., of the will, 1 December 1804, of Robert Moore Riddick, attested in 1821; and statement, 20 August 1817, by Josiah Riddick, releasing the estate of Robert Moore Riddick from legal obligations to the estate of William Riddick. Also include exemption, 14 February 1820, from taxation of the slaves belonging to the estate of Robert Moore Riddick; and letter, 22 September 1855, from William E. Jordan, Quaker Neck, (Va.?), to Mr. Prentice, thanking Prentice for a favor; and notes, 19 August 1860, for sermons. Also include solicitation, n.d., "to the ladies of the Episcopal Church" for funds to purchase a new surplice; and genealogical notes, n.d., for the Prentis, Riddick, and Webb families.
