Letters of Armistead C. Gordon, 1919-1931.

In three letters, 1919-1928, Gordon, Staunton, Virginia, writes to William E. Dold re Gutzon Borglum's statue at the University of Virginia; Douglas Dold's story "The isle of blood"; William Cabell Bruce's "John Randolph of Roanoke, 1773-1833"; the possible publication of his daughter's story in Douglas Dold's magazine; and his own book, "Men and events; chapters of Virginia history," which is at the bindery. Also included is a letter, 1931 May 8, to Dold from George Fawcett, New York City, re the death of Edwin Anderson Alderman and Fawcett's visit to the University of Virginia.
