Papers of the Sitwell family, 1949-1891.

The collection contains an essay, "The Sitwells: a tapestry of talent," and a speech "A glimpse of the Sitwells, " both written by Arthur P. Bean, Jr. for a 1979 Alderman Library Sitwell exhibit. With these are letters, 1978-1981, from Phronsie Irene March Sitwell concerning the exhibit and some personal matters; a 1973 article on her home "Three otters"; and phonographs of Dame Edith Sitwell and Sacheverell Sitwell reading from their works.
