The accession consists of two photographic copies of an architectural plan for the campus of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography produced in February 1958 by Risley and Grould, Architects and entitled, "Master Plan, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, La Jolla, California, Ultimate Plan." The legend on the drawings reads, "Date: Feb. 1958, Scale 1:=40'" Existing buildings are indicated on the plan and new buildings are sketched in. The new buildings indicated on the plan include a circulating water channel, a pool, a lecture hall, and two laboratory buildings.
