Abstract

The collection documents Jeep Holland's personal life and career, particularly the A-Square Record label which he found in 1967. Series consist of administrative files from Discount Records Ann Arbor store and A-Square Records; artist files from groups Jeep worked with, such as MC5, The Stooges, The Rationals, and others; also personal papers; assorted realia such as promotional buttons, sound recordings including 45 rpm singles, photographs, and scrapbooks.
