Farm account book, 1813-1828.

Agricultural account book, 1813-1828, concerning Carlton plantation in Albemarle County, Va., and Port Royal in Caroline County, Va. Accounts record number of hogs butchered, weights of pork and bacon, numbers of lambs and fowl, quantities for tobacco, wheat, corn, oats, and fodder for horses and cattle. Also include accounts concerning the gristmill and sawmill operations on Carlton, amounts of tallow and dry goods bought. The end of the volume lists slaves and include information pertaining to age, occupation, and family units.
