Financial documents, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and assorted documents pertaining to the business affairs of Ramón Llerena and to events of interest to him. The bulk of the financial documents are receipts. The newspaper clippings, most without citation information and dates, relate to a wide variety of subjects including events of mundane interest occurring mostly in Texas and Mexico during the nineteenth century, land grant history in Texas, and news of various businesses. Correspondence pertains to Llerena's business and money matters. Included among the assorted documents are a few contracts, reports, business cards, and a certificate of Llerena's enlistment in the National Guard. The certificate lists Llerena's physical characteristics.

Before and after that date, he was involved in various business concerns including agriculture, agricultural land sales and leases, coal, and retail merchandise.
