Abstract

Manuscript copy of Pelham Warren's journal kept while travelling to England and Scotland, 5 Apr. - 3 June 1848, presumably for health reasons. Warren sent the journal home to his wife with his letters from abroad. Entries describe the voyage to Halifax and Liverpool, sightseeing in England (especially London) and Scotland, and his health. The copy was made by Richard Warren.
