Charles C. Wilson papers, 1930-1938.

Papers consist of three typewritten versions of Wilson's history of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and correspondence related to its publication. Histories include an annotated typescript (1930) entitled "South Carolina Chapter, American Institute of Architects," and a condensed version (1930) with the same title. Later annotated version (1938) is entitled "A History of the Practice of Architecture in the State of South Carolina in general and of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in particular." Later version was enlarged and revised by Samuel Lapham and published in 1938. Correspondence includes a letter (1930 Nov. 13) from Wilson in Columbia, S.C. to Albert Simons in Charleston, S.C. concerning the publication of his history. Other correspondents include Samuel Lapham and J. Whitney Cunningham.
