Rosa Parker was living in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota when she co-wrote the lyrics to her song, Take Me Back to Iowa, with Margaret Ball Dickson. She sent a lyric sheet to the Iowa State Dept. of History and Archives in 1945 requesting their assistance with the publication and promotion of the song.
