Journal of the bark Sarah Sheaf of New Bedford (Thomas Wall, Master; Cranston Wilcox, Owner) from Honolulu to New Bedford, MA. Includes notes of whales taken by three whalers and two manuscript charts of Cook's Inlet and Conception, Chile. Includes handwritten copy of the journal of the ship City of New Bedford (S. Henry Gifford, Master; Abraham H. Howland, Owner) in 1853-1854 to the North Pacific giving an account of the loss of the City and Gifford's return to Honolulu.

One 8" X 13" log book and supporting material.
