Professor Christian Moe of the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale theater department donated these photos, which depict 49 plays presented by the Southern Players, the New Salem State Park Kelso Hollow Theater, and the Department of Theater's international play writing competition in 1972.

Moe, Christian Hollis, 1929-

Christian Hollis Moe has been a driving influence in the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale community since arriving in 1958. Moe, the man for whom the laboratory theater is named, served on the theater department faculty from 1958 to 1997.
