A collection of scrapbooks, correspondence, and genealogical information pertaining to the descendants of Col. Daniel Putnam. The Colonel Daniel Putnam Association, Inc. was formed on May 25, 1910, as a historical society in honor of Colonel Daniel Putnam, a son of Revolutionary War hero Major General Israel Putnam. The Association owns and preserves a historical house in Brooklyn, Connecticut, formerly owned by Daniel. The correspondence is that of former Registrar Anna Putnam Malbone Browne.
