Acknowleges Browning's letter and expresses longing for Browning to return to England, telling him "You can have your summer quarters abroad, if you like, but come and live and die in Shakespeare Land." Robert Browning was a British poet. Born on May 7, 1812, Browning wrote his first major work,"Pauline: a fragment of a confession" at the age of twenty.
