Autograph statement signed by Aurélien Scholl. Scholl comments that at the beginning of the 19th century, the English were the worst of enemies to the French, and now Parisians pay tribute to the statue of Shakespeare. Wonders if, in 1988, they will erect a statue to Richard Wagner.
