A loose blotting paper indicates that William Graves was an agent for Commercial Union Insurance Company in Newburyport, MA. List of voyages for 1861-1862 includes Newburyport to Boston to New Orleans to Liverpool, to Calcutta to Madras to Pangoon to Amsterdam to Sunderland. Cargo includes tea, coal, rice, cotton, corn and salt.
