Manuscript of notes on lectures by Cooper and Cline. The extracts and cases which form second part of volume seem to have been taken at a later period, when Couch was already practicing in his native village, Polperro, Cornwall. The volume also contains three pages of "Notes for an essay on the rationality and intellectual powers of animals", which may relate to Couch's book, "Illustrations of instinct."
