This collection consists of 23 color 5x7 photographic prints and 26 original color 35mm negatives taken by Jeffery Frautschy at the ground breaking ceremony for the Physical Oceanography and Space Science Building at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD, later dedicated as Nierenberg Hall. Photographs include images of UCSD Chancellor Richard Atkinson and SIO Director William A. Nierenberg.
