Grossman and Myers families papers, 1897-1995 (bulk 1930-1990).

This collection consists of personal and professional papers, genealogy and other family papers of Joel Grossman Myers and her husband Bert Myers, covering both sides of the family. Included are correspondence, photographs, certificates, legal documents, clippings, ledgers, essays, poems, scripts and other writings, such as a bound carbon copy of Joel Myers' 1971 masters thesis at Tulane, entitled, "A Reputational Study of Women Leaders in New Orleans". Also featured are World War II correspondence of Louis Eugene Grossman (1898-1962), and other papers relating to the lives of ancestors including Simon Abraham and Emile Kahn.
