Nelson R. Burr Collection, Papers and Scrapbooks, 1910-1977.

A collection of papers read (.5 linear feet), primarily to the Connecticut Historical Society, by Nelson R. Burr of West Hartford, Connecticut. Also contains correspondence and other information from Burr's Princeton University classmates from the Class of 1927 (.5 linear feet). The 16 scrapbooks include family photographs, funeraria from the death of Burr's parents, travel memorabilia, articles written by Burr, letters of acknowledgment, and other memorabilia concerning Burr's time in Washington, DC and the Hartford area. A scrapbook devoted to the Parkville section of Hartford is found within the collection as well. Family photographs are the earliest items, dating from the 1910s.
