Records Relating to the Sixth Annual Tour for Foreign Museum Professionals, 1965.

These materials relate to a visit by foreign museum professionals to Williamstown and the Clark in 1965. Organized by the American Association of Museums in cooperation with the U.S. Department of State, a number of delegates from Australia, the U.S.S.R., Ecuador, and other countries were received in Williamstown by a number of people from the Clark, Williams College, and other cultural institutions in the Berkshires. They had formal banquets at the Springs, the Williams Inn, and the 1896 House, and viewed the Clark's collection. The visit took place May 15-17. This collection includes menus from the banquets, tourism materials that were assembled for the visitors, and biographical information on participants.
