Correspondence, poems, and printed material documenting the literary career of author Ludwig Lewisohn. Volume of unpublished poems, 1903-1905, includes two dedications to "you whose name I dare not speak, but to whom these poems of right belong," and to George Sylvester Viereck; typescript copy, 1922, of Lewisohn's article, "South Carolina: A Lingering Fragrance," originally published in The Nation; and letters, 1929-1946, re Lewisohn's thoughts and criticism on his own writing and the importance of his Jewish heritage. Places represented include Brookyln, N.Y.; Santa Fe, N.M.; Paris and Nice, France.
